LA WILDFIRE RESOURCE GUIDE

LAST UPDATED: [1/15]

The goal of this guide is to simplify access to the wealth of resources currently circulating the digital space. There are descriptions, direct-links to forms, addresses, and any other relevant information. Please see “About this Guide” at the bottom of this page.

I will be managing and updating this page in the short-term as well as in the coming weeks, as the LA community navigates the aftermath of this devastation and forges paths toward recovery and rebuilding.

About this Guide:

  • Due to the urgency of immediate need and daily-changing updates on donation and volunteer efforts across the city, this guide will prioritize ongoing or longer-term efforts. Short-term or immediate efforts will be added to stories and highlights as they arise.

  • This guide is not an exhaustive list but will also prioritize direct-help, local, non-profit, grassroots and mutual aid organizations and efforts, that directly serve the needs of vulnerable and/or historically underserved communities who may already be disproportionately impacted by socio-economic and socio-cultural inequities.

  • I will be mindful not to overlap or repeat resources already available in robust lists like this incredible directory from Mutual Aid LA, for efficiency sake, so some sections may seem more lean.

  • I know that monetary donations or even physical volunteering (particularly for those with health vulnerabilities or comprising health conditions), is not always possible, so as more long-term efforts unfold in weeks to come, I will also aim to source a range of inclusive ways to support.

  • At this time, I am the sole contributor to this guide and will do my best to update all information and relevant links in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for your patience. If you would like to contribute a resource, please see below!
